A major wildfire broke out overnight in the forests of Btormaz in the Dinnieh region, with Lebanese and Palestinian Civil Defense teams struggling to reach the scene due to the rugged terrain and the absence of access roads. Strong winds further fueled the spread of the flames, complicating the response efforts.

During the operation, a vehicle belonging to the Palestinian Civil Defense overturned, causing material damage only.

Despite eventually managing to contain the blaze after sustained efforts, plumes of smoke are still rising from the area. Civil Defense teams, working alongside local residents and the municipality, continue cooling the ground to prevent the fire from reigniting.
