Warm Weather Strikes Amid Winter in February
The Meteorological Forecasting Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation predicts unsettled weather over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean under the influence of a fast-moving, moderately active low-pressure system. Conditions will include rain, snow, thunderstorms, and strong winds reaching up to 80 km/h, continuing until Thursday morning, when the weather will gradually stabilize.

Warnings: Strong winds may cause billboards and solar panels to be displaced, and sea waves are expected to rise.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy in the morning with falling temperatures and winds reaching 55 km/h, intensifying in the afternoon to around 80 km/h. Clouds will thicken, leading to scattered heavy rain and thunderstorms. Snow is expected above 1,800 meters, lowering to 1,500 meters overnight.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with further temperature drops and a chance of scattered morning rain before stabilizing.

Friday: Mostly clear with cold temperatures at dawn and warmer, drier conditions during the day.

Saturday: Mostly clear with a noticeable temperature rise, becoming cloudy in the evening with fog on highlands, preparing the atmosphere for scattered rain early Sunday.

Winds: South to southwest, active at 20–60 km/h, sometimes reaching 80 km/h, especially in northern areas.
Visibility: Good in the morning, decreasing on highlands in the afternoon due to fog.
Coastal Humidity: 40–80%
Sea Conditions: Rough tomorrow
Sea Surface Temperature: 19°C
Atmospheric Pressure: 1012 hPa (759 mmHg)
Sunrise: 06:19 am | Sunset: 05:25 pm
