Berri holds a series of meetings
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Brigadier General, André Rahal, advisor to President Joseph Aoun, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh.

The discussion reportedly touched on the current general situation and the latest political developments.

Speaker Berri also received in Ain el-Tineh, former minister Wadih El Khazen, with whom he discussed the latest political developments, the upcoming parliamentary elections, and general affairs.

On emerging, El Khazen said that that Speaker Berri emphasized that respecting constitutional entitlements is the key to protecting the democratic system, foremost among them the parliamentary elections, which will be held on their scheduled date in accordance with the constitution.

El Khazen also underlined that "this stage requires the highest levels of internal solidarity, adherence to constitutional and national principles, and working with a spirit of statehood and shared responsibility to fortify Lebanon and return it to the path of recovery and stability."

Among Speaker Berri's visitors for today had been Public Prosecutor Judge Jamal Hajjar.
