The Israeli army issued an evacuation order to residents of southern Lebanon who are located south of the Litani River.

The Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said: “Hezbollah’s activities are forcing the Israeli army to operate against it with force in that area. The airstrikes are ongoing, as the Israel Defense Forces are operating with great intensity in the region. For your safety, we again urge you to evacuate your homes immediately and move north of the Litani River.”

He added: “Anyone who is near members of Hezbollah, its facilities, or its weapons puts their life at risk. For your safety and the safety of your families, you must move immediately to north of the Litani River. Staying south of the Litani River may endanger your life and the lives of your family members.”

He concluded: “Be careful… any movement southward may put your life at risk.”
