President Joseph Aoun has signed three decrees, including one amending family allowances and another referring the 2027 draft state budget to Parliament.
The first decree, No. 3986, amends the family allowances set out in the compensation and assistance system.
The second, Decree No. 3987, refers the 2027 draft state budget law to Parliament for consideration.
The third, Decree No. 3988, refers a draft law to Parliament to allocate an additional LBP 1.4508 trillion under the 2026 state budget to support public transport drivers carrying passengers for a period of three months.
