President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, and his wife, Desislava Radeva, will visit Lebanon on Tuesday upon an official invitation by Lebanese President, Michel Aoun. Talks between the pair will focus on the existing Lebanese-Bulgarian relations and the best means to develop them in all fields.
The Bulgarian president is scheduled to arrive at Rafic Hariri International Airport at 9:30 am on Tuesday and will head to Baabda Palace, where an official reception will be held in his honor.
Discussions between both presidents will be followed by a press conference, and then a luncheon hosted by President Aoun in honor of his guest and his wife.
In the afternoon, the Bulgarian President will visit Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, and will later attend the opening of the Bulgarian-Lebanese Businessmen Forum, and visit the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, as well as the Bulgarian community in Lebanon.
Later in the evening, the Bulgarian President is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Saad Hariri at the Grand Serail.
On Wednesday, the Bulgarian president will place a wreath on the Martyrs' Statue in Downtown Beirut, where a special ceremony will be held. He will then head to Byblos to visit its historical monuments and later head to Rafik Hariri International Airport to wind up his official visit to Lebanon.
