France has been investigating US tech giant Apple since December over it allegedly planning for products to become out of date after a certain period, the Paris prosecutor's office said.
The probe into purported misleading commercial practices and "planned obsolescence" follows a complaint by the Halt Planned Obsolescence (HOP) association, it said.
