The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that a 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan.
The center stated that the quake occurred at a depth of 114 kilometers.
It also noted that the country has witnessed significant seismic activity in recent days, including another 4.1-magnitude tremor recorded at latitude 36.54°N, longitude 68.77°E, and at a depth of 139 kilometers.
