According to White House sources, Reuters reported that President Donald Trump handed his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin a letter from US First Lady Melania Trump regarding the reunification of Ukrainian children with their families.

According to Reuters, Trump delivered the letter to Putin during the Alaska summit.

Melania Trump, who was born in Slovenia, did not accompany the trip to Alaska, and officials did not disclose the contents of the letter, apart from referencing the “abduction of children as a result of the conflict.”
