Argentine President Javier Milei was pelted with stones and bottles by protesters during a campaign rally, amid anger over an alleged corruption scandal in his close circles. Milei was unharmed.

The incident occurred in Buenos Aires while Milei was traveling in a presidential vehicle as part of his party’s campaign ahead of the legislative elections scheduled for October. Security personnel quickly removed him from the scene.

Videos circulating online show the presidential car moving through a crowd of demonstrators who threw stones and bottles, while the vehicle sped away safely.
