Watch: School Collapse Leaves 100 Students Trapped Under Rubble
The authorities in Indonesia announced that nearly 100 students remain trapped under the rubble of a collapsed school on Monday, while at least three have died and dozens were injured.

Officials revealed that no fewer than 91 students are stuck beneath the concrete debris, nearly two days after an Islamic school building collapsed on them. The updated figure came after reviewing attendance records and reports from families of the missing minors.

More than 300 rescuers were working intensively this morning in search of survivors, after the building collapsed on hundreds of people, mostly teenage boys, who had been performing the afternoon prayer on Monday in the prayer hall of the Al-Khozeini Islamic boarding school in East Java, which was undergoing an unlicensed expansion.

Authorities confirmed that at least three students were killed, while another 100 were injured. On Tuesday evening, the National Disaster Management Agency revised the estimated number of people believed to be buried under the rubble to 91, up from the previously announced 38.
