Trump Makes Remarkable Stances Regarding Netanyahu and Peace
US President Donald Trump made a series of significant statements while speaking with journalists aboard his presidential plane on the way to Israel, including:

"I want to start by saying that the war is over. Yes, it’s over. This is the first time in centuries that Gaza has a real chance at peace. Rebuilding will take some time, but the process will start immediately. We will rebuild quickly, and we will launch the ‘Board of Peace’ which will take over the new administration, and all the leaders of the world want to be part of it. I know who will be on the board, but I won’t announce the names now. I spoke with Tony Blair, and I will check if he’s acceptable to everyone."

"Netanyahu has done a great job. We had minor disputes that were quickly resolved. He was the right man at the right time, and he nominated me for the Nobel Peace Prize just yesterday."

"Qatar was a crucial factor in making this deal succeed. They acted with great bravery in an extremely hostile region. They helped us tremendously and should begin receiving the credit they deserve. Back in 2017, I didn’t know them well, but as I got to know them better, I realized they are at the center of everything."

"I thank Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, and Indonesia for their support. Sometimes you have to go through pain before peace can be achieved."

"In fairness to the Nobel committee, the prize was for 2024, but some say an exception could be made. In any case, I didn’t do what I did for the Nobel, but to save lives."

"Regarding Ukraine, I spoke with President Zelenskyy about the weapons they need, especially Patriot systems, and possibly Tomahawks. I told him I might speak with President Putin first, because sending Tomahawks would be a new step of escalation. If the war isn’t resolved, we might send them."

"I give Ukraine credit for fighting well, and I think President Putin will look great if he settles. If he doesn’t, it won’t be good for him."

"Tariffs have given us significant diplomatic leverage. I’ve ended some wars using tariffs alone. I have an excellent relationship with President Xi. I fully understand what happened, and I’m not saying he’s wrong, but we responded with measures much stronger than what was done to us."

"The China tariffs scheduled for November 1 are still in place, but November 1 is a long time — so let’s see what happens."

"We’re ending some programs we never wanted, and we will probably never allow them to come back."

"As for Gaza, I would be proud to visit. I know it well even without visiting, but I would like to at least put my feet there. I believe it will witness a great miracle in the coming decades, but we must proceed at the right pace, not too fast."
