On February 6, the Ministry of Environment of Lebanon and the Embassy of Brazilco-organized a technical conference titled "From Belém to Beirut: Post-COP30 Reflections and Policy Dialogue," following the conclusion of COP30 in Belém, Brazil.

The conference reviewed Lebanon’s participation in COP30 and examined the main outcomes of the global climate talks, with a focus on policy implications and next steps for national climate action.

The event was attended by Minister of Environment Tamara Elzein, Ambassador of Brazil to Lebanon Tarcísio Costa, members of the technical delegation, and representatives of the United Nations Development Programme, who contributed to discussions on implementation pathways and international cooperation.
