The UK needs to act “with a cool head” amid concerns about the widening Iran crisis, Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said.
“We need to act, therefore, with clarity, with purpose and with a cool head,” he told parliament.
He also said the UK had been liaising closely with the US on pre-deploying military assets to the region, including air defence and counter-drone systems, as well as F-35 jets.
