Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has told British Prime Minister Keir Starmer that more could be done to create the conditions for dialogue on Iran, according to a statement from the Turkish presidency.

Speaking by phone with Starmer today, Erdogan said Turkey’s diplomatic efforts were continuing.

He also said Ankara was closely monitoring developments following attacks on Iran and warned that prolonged interventions could cause serious harm to regional and global stability, the statement added.
