عشية لقاء رئيس الحكومة نواف سلام مسؤولي صندوق النقد الدولي، أكّد مصدر في الصندوق للـMTV أنه "ينبغي البناء على التقدّم الذي أحرزه لبنان أخيراً في إقرار القوانين الإصلاحية، للتوصّل إلى اتفاق على برنامج مع صندوق النقد الدولي".
