Sources to MTV's website have reported that Mount Lebanon Investigative Judge Nada Asmar has issued her indictment in the killing of Pascal Sleiman, the Lebanese Forces’ Jbeil district coordinator.

Investigations found that what happened to Sleiman was not merely an attempt to steal his car, but involved other motives amounting to premeditated murder, torture and kidnapping by an armed group. The investigation also showed that Sleiman was severely beaten with weapons, tortured and placed in the trunk of the car, resulting in his death before reaching the Lebanese-Syrian border.

According to the sources, Judge Nada Asmar referred the defendants to the Mount Lebanon Criminal Court and charged them with premeditated murder, kidnapping and forming a criminal gang.
