MTV sources have reported that Lebanon has been informed that U.S.-sponsored negotiations between Lebanon and Israel will resume in Tampa, Florida, ahead of the Israeli elections. The next round of talks is expected to be held on October 20, with Ambassador Simon Karam heading the Lebanese delegation and Ambassador Nada Hamadeh Moawad also in attendance.
According to the sources, the “Tampa” round of negotiations will focus on the military track, as well as security and field arrangements aimed at consolidating the ceasefire and finalizing the framework agreement.
