Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal received head of Parliament’s National Defense Interior and Municipalities Committee MP Jihad Samad, at his office in Yarzeh and MP Melhem Riachy.

During both meetings, they discussed current developments. MPs Samad and Riachy expressed their appreciation for the military institution’s efforts to maintain internal stability amid the current circumstances, affirming that the army is the guarantor of civil peace.
