The New York Times reported that US and Israeli fighter jets conducted exercises over Iraq simulating strikes on Iran.

The newspaper added that the United States and Israel have drawn up plans to resume strikes on Iran after the midterm elections.

Sources cited by the newspaper said that all US military assets in the Middle East will be ready by November 1.

A White House official said that President Donald Trump is keeping all options on the table regarding Iran.
