Trump denies ongoing negotiations with Iran
US President Donald Trump denied that Washington was currently negotiating with Tehran, while suggesting that an agreement could be reached relatively soon, according to Russia Today.

Trump described the confrontation with Iran as a limited conflict, asserting that the United States was performing exceptionally well both militarily and financially.

He also said he had sent "the real deal" to the region, praising what he described as Washington’s achievements in its confrontation with Iran.

Speaking to reporters near Air Force One, Trump was asked whether negotiations with Tehran were continuing.

"They are continuing to some extent, but they will see what happens," he replied.

Asked whether he had abandoned efforts to reach an agreement with Iran, Trump denied doing so, clarifying that no negotiations were currently underway.

He nevertheless expressed confidence that an agreement would be reached "one way or another" relatively soon, possibly after the elections.

Trump also described what the United States had accomplished regarding Iran as remarkable.
