The questioning session with former Banque du Liban Governor Riad Salameh before Senior State Prosecutor Samaranda Nassar has concluded. His lawyer, Marc Habka, was also present. The case concerns Alaa Khawaja’s acquisition of shares in Bankmed.

MTV sources reported that Salameh attended the questioning session, which lasted two hours.

MTV also learned that Nassar conducted a detailed investigation into the acquisition. The questioning was technical and precise, involving a technical and legal comparison of the case file.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Cassation had previously questioned Salameh in connection with a lawsuit filed against him by current Banque du Liban Governor Karim Souaid.
