October’s Final Days Bring Heavy Rain and Flood Risks
Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin remain under the influence of a low-pressure system currently centered southwest of Turkey. The system is accompanied by relatively cold air masses and is bringing heavy rainfall, active winds that may strengthen at times, and thunderstorms. It will continue to affect the region until Friday morning, when it will begin to move away and the weather will gradually stabilize.

Average temperatures for October: Tripoli, 20–28°C; Beirut, 21–29°C; Zahle, 13–27°C.

Warning: Heavy rainfall is expected from tomorrow afternoon, with flash flooding possible on some roads.
