Al Hadath, citing sources, reported that committees have been formed to discuss US proposals regarding Iran’s nuclear program, following a positive message from US Vice President JD Vance.

The sources added that an Iranian delegation is in Qatar to discuss issues requiring further clarification, noting that the negotiations are taking place in a positive atmosphere, with expectations of a breakthrough in the coming period.

Iran has reportedly requested guarantees of a permanent and comprehensive end to the war in exchange for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. The sources said discussions are focused on a series of steps, but no comprehensive proposal has yet been finalized.
