Syrian Foreign Minister: We are considering the possibility of joining Mecca defense agreement
Syria is considering the possibility of joining the "Mecca Defense Pact", Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani announced on Saturday in Bahrain, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Speaking at the annual "Manama Dialogue" forum in the Bahraini capital, al-Shaibani stated: Discussions are currently underway to evaluate Syria’s joining of Mecca alliance.
