MTV’s website is looking for experienced Arabic writers and editors (minimum 2 years’ experience) to produce high-quality news and feature content for our Arabic section.

Role summary

You will write, edit, and publish Arabic articles with strong accuracy, clarity, and speed, aligned with MTV’s editorial tone and daily publishing cadence.

Key responsibilities

  • Write original Arabic news, reports, and feature articles based on assigned topics and daily agenda
  • Edit and proofread Arabic content to ensure accuracy, grammar, style consistency, and clarity
  • Verify information, sources, names, dates, and quotes before publishing
  • Optimize headlines, summaries, and keywords to improve search visibility (basic SEO)
  • Publish and format articles on the website CMS, including images, captions, and links
  • Coordinate with the newsroom and digital team to meet deadlines and breaking-news coverage

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a writer/editor (digital newsroom experience preferred)
  • Excellent Arabic writing and editing skills (grammar, spelling, structure, and tone)
  • Strong news judgment, speed, and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Political Science, Mass Communication, or a related field
