The Israeli media announced that the IRGC Navy commander Ali Reza Tangsiri, responsible for the Strait of Hormuz file, was reportedly killed in a strike inside Iran, carried out as part of ongoing attacks on IRGC-linked targets.

The reports said the assassination had been carried out, with initial assessments indicating it was successful.
