Israel’s Channel 12 reported, according to sources, that the head of the Mossad decided to dismiss the heads of two divisions within the agency over what it described as a “failure to achieve the goal of toppling the Iranian regime.”

According to the report, the decisions came following internal assessments conducted by the agency regarding the performance of its units in recent months. The Mossad chief held officials from the two divisions responsible for the failure to carry out their assigned missions.
