Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny held a meeting in his office with Tripoli Port Chairman Iskandar Bandali, and the newly appointed board members, in the presence of Port Director Ahmad Tamer. 

Discussions reportedly covered the council’s work program for the coming period and ways to develop the port in line with the ministry’s overall strategy and to strengthen complementarity among Lebanese ports.

Rasamny stressed the need to establish a five-year strategic vision and to prepare a practical action plan aimed at achieving sustainable development for the port and reinforcing its role as a key economic and commercial hub. 

The Minister underscored the importance of adopting modern management practices based on transparency, good governance, and the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence to improve performance and efficiency.
