His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV, renewed his closeness to all Lebanese, affirming that he offers prayers to God to strengthen President General Joseph Aoun in his weighty responsibilities and to guide his steps in serving Lebanon.

The Pope’s words came in a message addressed to the President, in which he reiterated that he carries happy and vivid memories of his meetings in Lebanon. He extended his best wishes for well-being, lasting stability, and peace to President Aoun and his family, and through them, to all the Lebanese people.
