MP Mohammad Sleiman stressed in a statement Saturday on "the necessity of coming together and holding dialogue between various components in the country to unite stances over constitutional requirements, especially the election of a president of the republic and the formation of a government that takes care of the interests of the state and the people."

Sleiman's statement came during a condolences visit to Sahel Akkar villages this morning.

He added that meeting together reinforces the possibility of obtaining Akkar's rights through political representation at the Cabinet level and a significant ministerial portfolio.
