The Israeli military announced that two Hamas commanders have been killed in two separate airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.
In an official statement, the military said the first strike, carried out Saturday evening in the southern Gaza Strip, killed Salem Jamal Abdul Rahman Abu Labad, a company commander in Hamas’ elite forces. It added that Abu Labad was among the militants who infiltrated the Nir Oz kibbutz during the October 7 attack.
