Gold prices rise
Gold rose nearly 1%, supported by a decline in bets that the US Federal Reserve will raise interest rates next month, as investors await key US inflation data that could reshape expectations for monetary policy.

Spot gold rose 0.9% to $4,406.34 an ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery gained 0.6% to $4,466.70.

Gold climbed to a 10-week high on Tuesday before facing technical resistance at the 100-day moving average around $4,387, closing lower for the second time this month.
