Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny received Lebanon’s Ambassador to India Hadi Jaber at his office on Thursday, with discussions focusing on issues of mutual interest and ways to strengthen cooperation in Lebanon’s interest.

Rasamny separately received Jadra Mayor Monsignor Joseph Kazzi, in the presence of former MP Alaa Terro. Talks covered the town’s key development and service-related files, priority projects and needs requiring follow-up.

Kazzi thanked Rasamny for his attention, responsiveness and follow-up on issues serving the public interest and the town’s residents.

Rasamny also met Akkar Municipalities Union President Adnan Melhem, who headed a delegation for talks on development and service-related priorities across Akkar’s towns and villages.

Discussions focused particularly on roads, infrastructure, priority projects and the region’s pressing needs.
