The man identified as “A.S.” opened fire on his wife inside a car in the town of Hasroun, Bcharre District, before getting out of the vehicle and shooting himself with a military-grade weapon, resulting in both their deaths. The reasons and circumstances surrounding the incident remain unknown.

Security forces, forensic experts, a Military Intelligence patrol, and the Bcharre police station immediately arrived at the scene. The necessary measures are being taken to complete the investigation.

It was learned that the shooter was a member of the Lebanese Army.
