Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar held a series of meetings at his office.
Al-Hajjar met with MP Haidar Nasser, and the two discussed the general situation in the country.
He also received former MP Atef Majdalani.
Al-Hajjar also met with Lamia Moubayed Bissat heads the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan. They discussed several issues related to the institute’s work, particularly training for municipalities and strengthening their capabilities.
The minister also received Beirut Marathon Association President May El Khalil, who briefed him on the association’s work and preparations underway for the annual race. They stressed the need to comply with public safety requirements and take the necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of the race.
