The US State Department has announced a reward of up to $15 million for information that could help identify financial networks linked to senior officials in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force.
The reward covers information on Ahmad Jafari-Abadi, Abdullah Mehrabi, and Ali Asghar Nourouzi, according to the State Department’s Rewards for Justice program.
In a post on X, the program said: “Somewhere between Iran’s missiles, drones, and victims, there is a financial trail. Help us disrupt it.”
The US State Department said the IRGC Aerospace Force is involved in developing and deploying Iranian missiles and drones, as well as procuring equipment for the IRGC.
It added that information about the three officials, or about financial mechanisms, organizations, and activities linked to the Aerospace Force, could make informants eligible for a reward and relocation arrangements.
The US announcement comes amid uncertainty surrounding negotiations between Washington and Tehran, which recently resumed.
