Party Organizer Jad Abou Sleiman Arrested Over Drug Trafficking, Manufacturing, and Fake IDs
The Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit, acting on instructions from Mount Lebanon Public Prosecutor Judge Sami Sader, raided the home of event organizer Jad Abou Suleiman, owner of “6AM in Beirut” and “Times and Sounds,” and arrested him on charges of drug trafficking and manufacturing drugs at his residence.

A forged ID card was also found in his possession.

The 35 people detained in connection with the case reportedly admitted to buying drugs from Abu Suleiman. He is therefore facing charges of forging IDs, cultivating, manufacturing and promoting drugs.

The investigation is continuing at the Anti-Narcotics Bureau under the supervision of Judge Sami Sader and is expected to be expanded, as Abu Suleiman has previous convictions. Authorities are also investigating suspicions that hundreds of IDs may have been forged to allow minors to enter nightclubs.
