Culture Minister Dr. Ghassan Salameh met at his office at the National Library in Sanayeh with Jawad Hashem, a board member of the Arab Federation for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights and the federation’s representative in Lebanon.

Discussions focused on promoting intellectual property awareness in Lebanon and strengthening the protection of authors’ and creators’ rights.

The meeting also addressed plans to open a regional office for the federation in Lebanon.

Hashem briefed Salameh on the federation’s activities and upcoming awareness programs and discussed prospects for cooperation with the Culture Ministry.
