Warmth or Rain? Lebanon’s Weather Remains Uncertain
Lebanon is set to experience another rise in temperatures on Saturday, with partly cloudy skies, high clouds, elevated humidity and occasionally strong winds, according to the Meteorological Department of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

General outlook

Stable, warm autumn weather is expected to prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, with temperatures above seasonal averages, until Sunday afternoon, when conditions are expected to become unsettled. Temperatures will drop, with scattered rainfall at times.

Average October temperatures are 20–28°C in Tripoli, 21–29°C in Beirut and 13–27°C in Zahle.

Friday: Mostly clear, with a slight rise in temperatures, low humidity and occasionally strong northerly winds.

Saturday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy, with high clouds, a further rise in temperatures, high humidity and occasionally strong winds.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, with mid- and high-level clouds. Temperatures will fall back to seasonal averages. Humidity will increase from the afternoon, with cloud cover thickening and fog forming over the mountains. Scattered rain is expected, at times heavy, particularly in southern and inland areas, accompanied by thunderstorms and occasionally strong winds.

Monday: Partly cloudy, with little change in temperatures and fog over the mountains. Light scattered rain is expected during the morning, particularly in northern areas, before conditions gradually improve throughout the day.
