Smuggled Dietary Supplements And Vitamins Seized
The General Directorate of Customs announced that its Anti-Smuggling Division raided a storage facility in the Chiyah area and seized large quantities of smuggled dietary supplements and vitamins that had not obtained the necessary licenses from the Ministry of Public Health.

The directorate affirmed that it would continue to pursue and seize smuggled dietary supplements and non-compliant pharmaceutical products to protect public health and safety and curb the circulation of products entering the market outside legal frameworks and without health oversight.

It renewed its call on citizens to exercise caution when purchasing these products from untrusted sources, avoid being lured by advertisements and tempting prices, and verify their origin and compliance with health and legal requirements.

It also urged citizens to assist the Customs Administration by reporting any materials or storage locations suspected of being linked to smuggling. The directorate noted that smugglers resort to hiding their goods in residential apartments and other inconspicuous locations to conceal them and mislead regulatory authorities. It stressed that public cooperation helps uncover these warehouses, track smuggling networks, and protect public health and the national economy.
