Army Intelligence has questioned the two detainees in the case involving an explosives shipment seized at the Dahr al-Baidar checkpoint, according to MTV website sources.
The sources said no political party has intervened on behalf of the detainees, neither has hired a lawyer, and the only people to have met with them are the investigators.
According to the sources, the wife of one of the detainees is a foreign national, and her phone was used in the operation to transport the explosives. The two detainees insist they do not know the person who handed them the shipment, identified as “Sajed,” or the intended recipient, identified as "Zou el-Fikar.”
Separately, MTV website sources said the Information Branch has received a copy of the interrogation report in the case involving explosives seized while being transported on the back of a donkey.
