Information Minister Paul Morcos discussed with President of the Republic Joseph Aoun a new development plan to be launched by Télé Liban, featuring updated programming and improvements in both content and presentation, alongside broader efforts to modernize public media institutions.

Speaking after the meeting, Morcos stressed the importance of safeguarding media freedoms and updating legislation.

He also emphasized the responsibility of media outlets to verify information and combat misinformation and disinformation that could threaten society.
