Security sources tell MTV the viral video does not show one of the two Hezbollah members detained in the Dahar al-Baidar explosives case being escorted to court while laughing.
The source confirmed that the clip circulated by Hezbollah supporters actually shows a detainee in a separate case.
The video shows the detainee being escorted by a member of the Internal Security Forces. The two Hezbollah members, meanwhile, remain in the custody of the Lebanese Army’s Intelligence Directorate. The footage was also not filmed at the Military Court, where the two men are expected to appear after formal charges are brought against them at a later stage.
