Lebanon’s Meteorological Department expects partly cloudy to cloudy skies on Saturday, with high clouds, a slight rise in temperatures and morning fog over the mountains.
In its daily weather bulletin, the department said the low-pressure system affecting the eastern Mediterranean would gradually move away from the region starting Friday afternoon. Some local weather fluctuations are expected to persist until Saturday morning, after which conditions will stabilize and temperatures will begin to rise.
Weather forecast for the coming days:
- Friday: Cloudy to partly cloudy, with a slight drop in temperatures. Fog is expected over the mountains, with scattered rainfall, particularly in northern Lebanon, and prolonged sunny intervals during the day.
- Saturday: Mostly cloudy with high clouds, a slight rise in temperatures and morning fog over the mountains.
- Sunday: Partly cloudy with mid- and high-level clouds, accompanied by a further rise in temperatures.
- Monday: Mostly clear, with temperatures continuing to rise above seasonal averages along the coast. Winds are expected to strengthen at night.
Temperatures are expected to range from 18 to 28°C along the coast, 12 to 23°C in the mountains, and 13 to 22°C inland.
Winds will be southwesterly at 10–30 km/h, while relative humidity along the coast will range between 55% and 80%.
The sea will be rough, with water temperatures at 26°C. Atmospheric pressure is expected to reach 764 mmHg.
