Acting on instructions from the competent judicial authorities, the Internal Security Forces General Directorate is circulating a photo of a detainee identified as:
I. S. (born in 1994, Lebanese),
who is suspected of involvement in fraud and impersonating a lawyer.
Preliminary investigations revealed that he allegedly misled detainees and their family members by claiming he could intervene in the handling of their court cases and facilitate their trials in exchange for money, exploiting his personal connections.
The necessary legal measures have been taken against him under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
Accordingly, the General Directorate urges anyone who may have fallen victim to his alleged activities and recognizes him to contact the Information Branch hotline at 1788 or visit the branch’s Investigation Department at the Internal Security Forces General Directorate, so that the necessary legal action can be taken.
