6.2 magnitude earthquake shakes Guatemala

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit Guatemala Monday afternoon.

The quake occurred 3 miles from San Jose Pinula, Guatemala, east of Guatemala City, and was about 120 miles deep.

It began at about 4 pm Pacific Time, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Authorities in the country said there were no immediate reports of damage.
