The Civil Protection in Algeria announced the overall situation following the weather fluctuations that hit the northern provinces of the country since Wednesday night, resulting in flash floods and floods that caused 4 deaths. They said their teams intervened in the village of Ouled Obeid Allah in the province of Djelfa after a bus overturned due to the rising water levels of the river.
They stated that the incident resulted in the death of 3 people and injuries to 34 others, 33 of whom were in shock and one person suffered a severe hand injury.
