Watch: Massive Military Parade in Washington
President Donald Trump and his wife Melania took part in a massive military parade in front of the White House, coinciding with celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Army and its 79th birthday.

The event featured a procession of Abrams tanks, military aircraft flyovers, and about 7,000 soldiers marching through the streets of Washington, D.C., amid cheers from the crowd shouting “America! America!”

The parade began with a 21-gun salute honoring Trump, followed by the presentation of an American flag by a parachute team that descended from the sky. The event also included soldiers dressed in historical uniforms representing different eras of the U.S. Army’s development, while the announcer recounted the United States’ victories in wars against Japan, Germany, China, and Vietnam.

Trump expressed his admiration for this type of celebration after attending the French military parade in Paris in 2017. He said his dream was fulfilled by organizing this parade, which cost $45 million. On his platform “Truth Social,” he described the event as “a great day for America.”
