Nearly half of Israelis surveyed in a new poll (47 percent) said they do not believe Gaza is suffering famine, dismissing such claims as Hamas propaganda.
In the poll – carried about by Lazar Research Institute and published by Maariv newspaper – 41 percent of those agreed that a humanitarian crisis is unfolding in Gaza. Of those, 56 percent said they care about the issue, while 44 percent said they do not, according to Maariv.
